About Tina
With over a decade of experience, Tina Dimopoulos is a licensed occupational therapist specializing in neurological and orthopedic rehabilitation for adults. A proud graduate of the University of Southern California (USC)—home to the nation’s top-ranked OT program—Tina earned her Bachelor’s (2015), Master’s (2016), and Doctorate (2017) degrees in Occupational Therapy.
Tina holds advanced certifications in the treatment of adults with hemiplegia resulting from stroke or brain injury, and she is a Certified Hand Therapist (CHT)—a noted designation that reflects her deep expertise in upper extremity rehabilitation.
Her clinical approach centers on the principle that core and trunk stability form the foundation for all functional movement, particularly in the upper extremities. To support this philosophy, Tina completed specialized training in STOTT PILATES® Rehab, a scientifically-based Pilates method tailored for healthcare professionals.
In addition to her clinical work, Tina is a passionate educator. She has served as an adjunct professor for over 6 years instructing over 25 health science courses, mentoring future healthcare providers and sharing her expertise in evidence-based rehabilitation. She also contributes to the profession as an Item Writer Expert for the Hand Therapy Commission, helping to maintain high standards in advanced practice certification for Certified Hand Therapy.
