Meet the Founder
Tina Dimopoulos, OTD, OTR/L, CHT
With over a decade of clinical experience, Tina Dimopoulos is an occupational therapist specializing in orthopedic and neurological rehabilitation for adults. Through Pulse OT, she combines advanced expertise in upper extremity rehabilitation, movement analysis, and Pilates-based rehabilitation to provide a highly individualized approach to care.
Tina earned her Bachelor’s (2015), Master’s (2016), and Doctorate (2017) degrees in Occupational Therapy from the University of Southern California (USC), home to one of the nation's most respected occupational therapy programs.
Following graduation, Tina completed advanced neurological rehabilitation training at the renowned Rancho Los Amigos National Rehabilitation Center in Los Angeles County, one of the country's leading centers for neurological recovery and rehabilitation. She later completed specialized hand therapy training at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City, a nationally recognized leader in upper extremity and orthopedic care. Together, these experiences provided a unique foundation in both neurological and orthopedic rehabilitation that continues to shape her clinical approach today.
Tina is a Certified Hand Therapist (CHT), a prestigious specialty certification that reflects advanced expertise in the evaluation and treatment of conditions affecting the hand, wrist, elbow, and shoulder. She is also Neuro-IFRAH certified in the treatment of adults with hemiplegia following stroke and brain injury.
As the only STOTT PILATES® Rehabilitation Mat & Reformer Certified Instructor in New York State, Tina brings a rare combination of occupational therapy, hand therapy, and Pilates-based rehabilitation expertise to her practice. This distinctive integration allows her to address movement through a whole-body lens, recognizing the relationship between posture, trunk control, biomechanics, and upper extremity function.
In addition to her clinical practice, Tina is a dedicated educator and advocate for the profession. She has served as an adjunct professor for more than six years, teaching over 25 health science and occupational therapy courses. She also contributes to the advancement of hand therapy as an Item Writer for the Hand Therapy Certification Commission, helping uphold the standards of excellence for Certified Hand Therapists nationwide.
Tina has presented nationally on topics related to rehabilitation and occupational therapy, served as a lecturer for continuing education programs, and contributed to the profession through publication in a peer-reviewed academic journal.
Through Pulse OT, Tina delivers concierge, one-on-one care designed to help clients move efficiently, restore meaningful function, and participate fully in the activities that matter most.
